By concentrating solely on higher education, Mugavari aimed to deal with the fundamental inequality that hampered the prospects of these disadvantaged students. They firmly believed that providing access to quality education would arm these young individuals with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to overcome barriers and chase their dreams.

In a war-like situation, where access to hospitals was almost nil, these Covid warriors exemplified the values of the Mugavari Foundation, despite their own losses and grief.

Mugavari doctors, working in the government sector, came forward to connect families, provide emotional support, to help cope with the pandemic & resulting loss of lives.

It is also a matter of pride for us to state that out of the 270 medical students who are a part of Mugavari, 84 students, across various districts in the country, who were in their internship year served in the COVID wards during the peaks of the pandemic.
