At Mugavari, every young person who enters its doors becomes an integral part of the family, nurturing mutual support in varied domains. This is particularly significant as new Mugavari entrants are chosen by fellow students, creating a meaningful and inclusive connect within the community.
We strive to accommodate all aspiring students into the foundation to enable them to receive higher education. However, unfortunately, the number of students is limited by the sponsors available for the academic year.
Over the past few years, the number of students who seek aid from us has risen steeply. So, we have adopted the following system in order to reach out to the most deserving students who need our help.
Students from socially and economically backward sections of the society who have exhibited an unwavering dedication to education and have completed their schooling in government run educational institutions are considered to be qualified for our assistance. Students need to apply with +2 results copy till end of June. (Online result copy is enough).
Students form selection committees and conduct the entire process with minimal intervention building core competencies that include critical thinking, decision making, team building, resource management and most importantly, conflict resolution
A committee constituting former beneficiaries from Mugavari will peruse the applications. The committee members are changed annually to prevent any recommendation-based selection processes.
Application verification and verification of the candidate will be done by the committee members. Application verification takes place in July and the final selection list is announced in the first week of August every year.
Applications were scrutinized and the following groups of students will be given preference in the selection process only when one or more eligibility criteria has been met.
